What makes you a Boutique Sport Girl?
Whether it's running a marathon or trying out the latest fitness craze, I'm up for anything to keep me looking good but, more importantly, feeling good. I think Boutique Sport marries my passion for fitness with my love of fashion. I'm the kind of girl who loves getting down and dirty on a cross-country run but also wants to ensure her fitness kit is coordinated. Yes, it's sad, but I believe if you look good while working out, you'll perform better. And that's why I always try my best to look preened before I jog to the start line.
What is your favourite sport/form of exercise?
It has to be long-distance running. Training for a race can be quite solitary at times but I really benefit from having that time to mull over my tasks for the day or simply enjoy soaking up the atmosphere of a marathon such as London or Paris. One of my favourite marathons to date was Kielder last year. Held around a manmade reservoir in Northumberland, it's an amazing (but hilly) race and the views are spectacular. If you spend all day in front of a computer, there's something quite cathartic about running home or exploring your surrounding. I reckon I could probably do The Knowledge (the test for taxi drivers) by now, thanks to all my running adventures about town. I even take my gear with me when I go abroad as it's a brilliant way to get your bearings in a foreign city. Alongside pounding the pavements, I also go to Nike Training Club but, to be honest, nothing beats a run on a crisp, cold Autumn day.
Which item from your make-up bag could you not live without?
Can I only choose one item? It has to be my Boots No7 BB cream. I love the fact that you don't need to apply a separate moisturiser, it contains SPF and it's so easy to apply. My skin looks radiant and I feel more confident because it covers up any blemishes or under-eye circles. What's more, it's fuss-free, which is a plus point in my book products because it means I can spend more time doing the things I enjoy.back to glambassadors
